Founder of Polo Ralph Lauren brand, Ralph Lauren is a fashion designer and businessman. Born as Ralph Lifschitz in America, Ralph studied business and even served American army before entering the world of fashion designing. The most prestigious moment of Ralph’s career was when he opened his first tie shop in year 1967. Next he launched a classy men's collection, which was followed by launch of Polo label.

The signature logo of polo horseman became the face of Polo Ralph Lauren brand. After receiving COTY award in 1970 for his menswear, Ralph launched his high-end women's suits for the corporate and sophisticated formal look with the same Polo emblem.

Ralph has become a fashion tycoon in America with more than 35 boutiques in US. In 2010, Nicolas Sarkozy the French president decorated Ralph with Chevalier de la Legion d'honneur.

Apart from his clothing and accessories, the house of Ralph Lauren also offers a line of exotic perfumes for both men and women. It was in 1978 when first Ralph Lauren perfume was created and was called "Lauren". Blending best of essence, Ralph Lauren creates fragrances specially designed for working women.
