Elizabeth Arden was a Canadian businesswoman born as Florence Nightingale Graham. Known for creating a cosmetic empire in US, Elizabeth Arden was one of the wealthiest women. Arden learned about skin care during her brief time spent in E.R. Squibb Pharmaceuticals Company as a bookkeeper. She also worked as a treatment girl with beauty culturist Eleanor Adair. With a business name set, Arden was ready to enter the world of cosmetic industry for which she learned about facial massage, eye makeup and beauty treatments.

Elizabeth Arden was awarded by French government with Légion d'Honneur in year 1962 for her work in cosmetic industry. From 1980s to 1990s, Swedish supermodel Vendela Kirsebom was the face of Elizabeth Arden, while the Catherine Zeta Jones is the current spokesperson. The signature fragrance line of Elizabeth Arden is Red Door, while the other exciting line of perfumes includes Green tea, Mediterranean, Provocative Women and Fifth Women. This company also hold license to celebrity fragrances like Curious by Brittney Spears, With Love Hillary Duff by Hillary Duff and fragrances by Mariah Carey and Elizabeth Taylor.
