A Swiss tobacco brand, Davidoff is owned by Imperial Tobacco. While Davidoff was created as a tobacco brand, today this luxury brand is also popular for its men perfumes like the famous Davidoff Cool Water. The person behind Davidoff brand is Zino Davidoff. Zino, son of a tobacco merchant, was born in Ukraine in 1906. Davidoff’s family moved to Switzerland and started tobacco business there. After completing his schooling in 1924, he studied and researched more about tobacco before joining his family business in 1930.

After achieving fame and success with Cuban cigars, Davidoff released its first fragrance Davidoff Classic in 1984 which was soon followed by the launch of his signature men perfume Cool Water in 1988. The success of masculine and casual, yet sophisticated, Davidoff fragrances made the company produce more men cologne under the brand name of Davidoff; these include Cool Water Deep, Cool Water Summer Fizz and Cool Water Game. ECHO and Good Life are also high seller fragrances from Davidoff.
